PROTEST MARCHERS OF THE COMMITTEE OF 100, strengthened by demonstrators from several other rallies in Hyde Park, London, gathering at the end of Kensington Palace Gardens where the Soviet Embassy is situated. Police stopped the marchers at the end of the street, but bearers of letters protesting against the invasion of Czechoslovakia, were permitted through the cordon to deliver them to the embassy.
