The Technical centre-for-ward, A. Caine, has been given special leave by the Army to play in the Chatham Cup national soccer final at Wellington. Caine has to report for military service on Wednesday, three days before the cup final. However, after representation made by his club, Caine will now be allowed to travel to Wellington with his team-mates on the Thursday night ferry. He will report back to Burnham after the match.
