Sir John Ormond, of Waipukurau, and Mr W. J. Polson, of Fordell. were reelected the producer members on the Meat Board by the electoral committee of the board yesterday. The appointments are for three years.—(PA.)
The Chief Postmaster (Mr M. E. Wilson), has been elected a feUow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries. Mr G. J. Perkins, of Christchurch, has passed the fire insurance subject of the Qualifying examinations of the Chartered Insurance Institute of the United Kingdom.
