Political Funds

Sir, —Mr Kirk has received a letter appealing for support for another political party. Its origin is being questioned. But is there anything wrong about such an appeal? If it came direct from the party, I can see no wrong. Certainly it does not warrant wasting the time of our costly Parliamentary institution. Surely, in these difficult times, or at any time. Parliament should be above such nonsense.— Yours, etc., GERALD LLOYD. August 21, 1968.
