$42,410 For Hitler Car

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MUNICH, August 20.

One of Adolf Hitler’s fleet of cars, used by him to review parades, has been sold in Munich to a German nobleman for the equivalent of $NZ42,410. A spokesman for Deutsche Interhandel, a commercial brokerage firm in Munich, said the buyer did not want his name disclosed, but he had bought the 7.7-litre Mercedes-Benz after it had been unsuccessfully advertised in the United States. Hitler used the car, among others, to review Nazi party rallies in Nuremburg and Berlin.
