The Rev. Nicholas Crotty, the Melbourne Roman Catholic priest who opposed the Pope’s encyclical on birth control, will be posted to Hobart, the Archbishop of Hobart (the Most Rev. Dr G. Young) has confirmed. Father Crotty, who resigned from his position as professor of moral theology at the Holy Cross Seminary in Melbourne earlier this week, is expected to go to the Hobart community of the Passionist Fathers, the order to which he belongs. His duties there have not been announced.
