Education Awards

The United States Educational Foundation in New Zealand has announced another 21 awards under its 1968 programme—seven to Americans and 14 to New Zealanders. Mr J. A. Mercurio, an American graduate student of Syracuse University, will do research in education at the University of Canterbury. Two University of Canterbury graduate students have received travel grants. Mr J. S. Ayers, of the department of chemistry, will do post-doctoral research in the State University College of Forestry, Syracuse University, New York. Mr D. R. Busch, of the department of philosophy, will do post-graduate study in mathematical logic at the State University of New York, Buffalo.
