AUCKLAND, August 18. A woman died in the Auckafter being knocked off her bicycle by a car in Rosebank Road, Avondale, at 6.40 p.m. She was
Mary Kiss, aged 63, a widow, of 332 Rosebank Road, Avondale.
Mrs Kiss was taken to the Auckland Hospital by ambulance, but died about three hours later.
Elderly Man’s Death An elderly man died before reaching hospital after a two-car accident outside the Riverina Hotel, in Grey Street, Hamilton, tonight The Hamilton police could not release the man’s name tonight—and said it was no. yet known whether his death was caused by injuries suffered in the accident.
