BOBBY CALF POOL
Private Sales Prohibited
Producers in the district of the Banks Peninsula Calf Pool are being canvassed for private sales, says the secretary of the pool, Mr F. G. Harris.
This was an offence under the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations, which laid down that within a pool district purchases or sales of calves could only be made through the committee.
If no action was taken the pool might have to close down, Mr Harris said.
