ENGINE IN CRASH
Inspection By U.S. Experts

HAMILTON, August 19.
A team of experts from the United States is inspecting the engine of the turbo-prop topdressing aircraft which crashed near Taumarunui last week, killing the pilot. A spokesman for Rovee Robertson Air Service, Ltd, of Hamilton, said today that the team, from the company which manufactured the engine, took it to Auckland for further tests after inspecting it where the plane crashed. The team arrived in New Zealand 28J hours after being told of the crash.
Victorian Oranges.—The Union Steam Ship Company’s motor vessel Tarawera is due at Lyttelton on Thursday with more than 13,000 cases of Victorian oranges for discharge.
