HAMILTON. Auckland and Wellington had the hardest-earned wins on the opening day of the New Zealand Rugby league senior schoolboys' tournament at Huntly yesterday. Results:
A division: Auckland 13, Canterbury 9; Waikato A 37, Taranaki 15.
B division: Wellington 19, Bay of Plenty 16; West Coast 27, Waikato B 5.
