Police rushed to the Arab sector, cordoned off the area and. using batons and riot shields, dispersed the Jewish youths, some of whom were wounded. Seven were arrested. Three Arabs were taken to hospital, two of them seriously injured. The police then intensified their hunt for the Arab terrorists who planted the grenades, which were fitted with delayed fuses.
