(N.Z P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) CLEVELAND.

Ashe defeated Gisbert, 6-2, 64, 6-2. Two more singles will be played. The winner of the tie will meet either West Germany or India for the right to challenge Australia, the Davis Cup holder. In today’s singles, Graebner will play Gisbert and Ashe will meet Santana.
