PRICE CHANGES
T. & W. Young Profit Down
T. and W. Young, Ltd, the Wellington-based wine and spirit and general merchant, earned a profit of $7876, or 5.6 per cent lower, at $133,108 in the year to May 31, directors say in a preliminary report. A final dividend of 5 per cent has been recommended, payable October 11, ex September 20, making a steady 10 per cent for the year.
U.E.B. Notes
The 1972 unsecured convertible note registers of U.E.B Industries, Ltd, will be closed from Saturday, August 31, to Friday, September 13, both days inclusive, for payment of half yearly interest on Saturday, September 14; ex interest August 31.
