“Coffee Ground Liquid”
fN.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 16. A Press Association message yesterday from Dunedin, reporting an inquest into the death of a seven-month-old baby, said that the baby, when examined by a doctor on July 24, had been vomiting “coffee ground liquid.” “Coffee ground liquid” is a descriptive medical term for coagulated blood in stomach liquids.
