Churchill’s Studio

The studio, where he painted many of his best-known pictures, comprises two rooms: an inner room which was once part of an old cottage, and a larger room which Sir Winston Churchill had built in the early 19505. Visitors will be able to see no fewer than 69 Churchill canvases and alsd a tapestry presented to him by the Belgian Parliament
The garden at Chartwell will be open until October 15 on Saturdays and Sundays, and on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. The house and gardens are now in the care of the National Trust.
