World-Class Squash

Attractive, hard-hitting squash rackets should be seen at the Chester Street courts tomorrow, when the Australian women’s team will play a New Zealand Invitation side. Australia, at present, is preeminent in the world of squash and its women’s team, which includes one previous international, Miss M. Horley, should be very strong. In 1965, a team of Australian junior girls played in Christchurch,

impressing with their power and fine stroke play. The other members of the Australian team are Misses C. Hunter, K. Mansfield and M. Walsham. Heading the Invitation team will be Mrs V. Biss (Palmerston North), who won the New Zealand title on her home courts last week-end. Mrs P. Buckingham (Hamilton), Miss K. Glenney and Miss T. Lawes (Wellington) complete the side.
