$5 Betting Sought
A five-dollar selling window will be sought by the Kurow Trotting Club for its annual race meeting to be held at Oamaru on August 10. This was decided at the annual meeting of the club.
The accounts showed that after providing $5OO for taxa tion, there was a surplus of $1641.
Officers elected: president, Mr E. M. Sutherland; vice-presi-dent. Mr D. G. Smith; treasurer, Mr A. L. Fraser; committee Messrs G. J. Cochrane, S. J. Cochrane. A. L. Fraser. W. Irving, G. Stringer, J. Nicol.
