Dibley In Squash Semi-Finals
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. A return to form yesterday by P. Dibley (Remuera) has won him a semi-final place in the national squash rackets championship. Dibley, a New Zealand representative in 1964-65-67, was beaten in the first round of the recent North Island championships. Yesterday, he beat the No. 3 seed, J. Stevens (Remuera), in straight games. However, Dibley will have a hard match today. His semifinal opponent is the No. 1 seed, T. Johnston (Palmerston North). In the other semifinal, C. Waugh (Henderson), who has won the title five times, will meet D. Burmiester (Palmerston North), the present champion. Results:— Men's Championship First Round,—Johnston beat D.
