Gifts For Airmen
(N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM, May 15. Gifts of goods and money have been received from many people to assist th» airmen who lost their belongings in the fire in the dormitory block at the R.N.Z.A.F. base, Woodbourne, on Saturday night. The station padre (the Rev. T. G. Carpenter) said this morning that gifts of money included $2OO from the Blenheim sub-centre of the Red Cross and $lOO from the Blenheim Rotary Club. Shirts and other clothing and toilet gear had also been given.
