Applications for assisted passages to New Zealand from prospective British migrants are still above the 1967 average, according to “The Times.”
The number of applications for assisted passages to Australia in the first four months of this year was almost, double that in the same period last year, and inquiries about South Africa had been about 25 per cent higher than usual, the newspaper said. Canada’s appeal was about the same as for the last two years.
