The People’s Liberation Army in Canton has ordered that "wrongly accused victims” of the Cultural Revolution be financially compensated, given their old jobs back and have their convictions reversed, the “Star” newspaper reported today. Quoting reports received in Hong Kong, the Englishlanguage newspaper said the order was given by the Kwangtung Provincial Military Central Committee on instructions from the party central committee.
