DJAKARTA, May 13.

Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia said today it was very important that a new conference of non-aligned nations should be held soon. The Emperor told a press conference he had found a favourable reception to this idea during his mrrent Asian tour, but he stressed that adequate preparations should be made if any new meeting was to be held. The Emperor left Indonesia today by air for Australia, after talks with President Suharto.
