Duke Arrives In Sydney
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, May 12. The Duke of Edinburgh arrived in Sydney by air from Canberra this afternoon for his third Commonwealth Study Conference. Some 400 persons turned out to welcome him in cool, overcast weather. He was met at Sydney’s Kingsford Smith airport by the Governor of New South Wales (Sir Roden Cutler) and Lady Cutler, and the State Premier (Mr R. Askin) and Mrs Askin.
