LEAGUE TRIAL

Two Players Injured

(N.Z. Preu Aeeocietion) AUCKLAND. Two West Coast middle row forwards have withdrawn from today’s final Rugby league trial because of injuries suffered in trials and coaching at Rotorua this week. J. K. Dixon has a broken nose, but he is still available for the New Zealand world championship team, which will be announced after the game. C. L. McMaster has torn ligaments in his back. Dixon will be replaced in the New Zealand team by E. Moore (Auckland), who will in turn be replaced in the Rest team by F. M. J. Smith (Wellington), who was a reserve for the New Zealand team.

W. P. Noonan, a reserve for the Rest, comes into the team in place of McMaster.
