CRITIC
Claiming that half the player* are unfit, the chairman of the Australian Rugby selectors, Mr W. McLaughlin, yesterday criticised the standard of play in Sydney on the eve of New Zealand’s tour. “If the sort of play I’ve seen so far continues, I shudder to think what will happen against New Zealand,” he said.
