FORD ESCORT WAGGONS

Station-waggon versions of the 1100 c.c. and 1300 c.c. Ford Escorts have been announced in Britain. In Britain 20 per cent of the Anglias sold were station waggon versions, and Ford expects that with the Escort the proportion will be even larger. The Escort waggons have 54 cu. ft of load space, which is reached through a onepiece lift-up tailgate. With the back seat in place there is 31 cu. ft of load space. When the rear seat is folded down, the luggage deck is more than sft long and 3ft 3in wide.
