DRYING AND STORAGE. —Mr A. J. Marshall, who farms on the outskirts of Ashburton, is shown with his Danish-type fan which not only blows warm or cool air into grain or seeds, but also moves grain and seeds by blowing. Danish slatted wood silos, used as radial driers, are on either side of the fan, and a corrugated iron silo is in the background in a new granary built on the farm.
