Killed In Bed
(N.Z. Press Association) ' WELLINGTON, April 10.
A seven-year-old girl was killed and her nine-year-old sister seriously injured as they lay in their beds when iron hurled by the wind from the roof of a neighbour’s home crashed through their bedroom window at 8.46 a.m. today. The dead girl was Deborra Chrlstain Bellis, of Bedford Street.
Her sister, Caroline, suffered fractures to the skull. Deborra died on the way to Wellington Hospital. Caroline was admitted in serious condition.
