W.E.A. Starts Early
The Workers’ Educational Association, once bound to a “winter” programme, now spreads activities over 10 months and many people want a start in February, according to the secretary (Mr N. A. Parsloe). Inquiries began in December. The traditional start a week after Easter no longer applied, he said. Painting and wood sculpture courses were fully enrolled and began in February. Some language courses and a mathematics | course began this week. One public forum had been neld already and a series, "Meet the ambassador,” was : being held on Thursdays.
