(N.Z. press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY. A bdow-standard blood condition js delaying the Doncaster Handicap preparation of the New Zealand mare, Unpainted. IX’r trainer, T. J. Smith, who has had Unpainted in his care fjr two weeks, had planned to give the mare her first Australian race at Warwick Farm Aiext Saturday. “She will now miss the Flying Handicap at Warwick Farm on Saturday, and I will have her under veterinary inspection,’’ Smith said yesterday. “Her blood count is all to billyho, but it should not take much to correct it."

The trainer has not given up hope of getting Unpainted to the post for the $40,000 Doncaster on April 13.

“Unpainted has not been asked for fast work in her trials, but she has done a fair amount since she arrived from New Zealand." Smith said.
