Motor-Sailer On Rocks

WELLINGTON. Mar. 17. The $lO,OOO Paremata motor - sailer Rome ran aground on rocks at Breaker Bay, west of the Wellington Heads, at 6 p.m. on Friday. She had been reported missing from Paremata 25 minutes earlier by her owner, Mr O. E. Richardson, of Paremata. Police took into custody a 15-year-old boy, a patient from the Porirua Psychiatric Hospital, who was rescued from the rocks by local fishermen.

Insurance inspectors yesterday declared the vessel a “write-off.”
