Chinese Troop Move Rumour

(N.Z.P.A .-Reuter —Copyright)

HONG KONG. March 5

The “Hong Kong Times” claimed today that Communist Chinese troops in Canton had been ordered to prepare to go to North Vietnam to fight in the Vietnam war. The newspaper quoted an unnamed businessman as saying he had personally seen large numbers of fully-armed troops going to a main Canton railway station on several mornings since the beginning of last week.

He added that the troops had received instructions to go to the province of Kwangsi, which borders North Vietnam, ready to move across the frontier.
