NEW YOUTH GROUP

A new young adults club has been formed in Christchurch and it will have its first official function this evening. The club, called the Intermmglers. was formed by a group o f young men and young women on the suggestion of Mrs J. Kennington, general secretary of the Christchurch Y.W.C.A. An inaugural shipwreck dance will be held in the * A hall this evening. We hope to cater for all young people over 16,” Mrs Kennington said. “The club programme will include dances, outdoor activities such as camping and tramping, sports and other forms entertainment. “The planning and running of the club is left to the young peonle and it is hoped 'hat a targe membership will evolve.”
