Manufacturers Support P.M.

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 7. The president of the Manufacturers’ Federation (Mr R. G. Speirs) said today that the federation wholeheartedly supported the proposals announced by the Prime Minister for the national development conference. “The federation has cooperated in preliminary preparations for extension of long-term indicative planning and it is gratifying that the Government is taking positive action in this progressive di'rection,” he said.
