LABOURER BANKRUPT
People had been pressing him to pay bls debts, Sidney Christian Matehe, aged 21, a drainlayer, of 129 Palmers Road, told ■. * ne « tin B of his creditors in the office of the Official Assignee (Mr J. B. K. Curran) yesterday. Matehe said he had three unsecured creditors for 9188.58, no secured creditors and no assets. Two of his creditors were the Magistrate’s Court—for the payment of traffic fines—and the Municipal Electricity Department.
Matehe said his wife and child and himself were staying with her parents and paying 818 a week board. He earned 832 a week and the rest of the wages were spent on children's clothing. Matehe said he wanted to pay off his debts at 93 a week.
No creditors attended the meeting and It was adjourned sine die.
