WAIROA SPRINT
Tolly In Form “The Press” Special Service HASTINGS. Bientot is favoured in the Gordon Nolan Handicap, first leg of the Wairoa T.A.B. double today. The second leg will be the six-furlong Ormond Memorial Handicap, in which Tolly appeals. The Ormond Memorial Handicap field is not of much account. Backfire is by far the best horse in the field but he has not raced since July. He could be fit enough to make his presence felt and his class could make him a formidable rival. Tolly will probably be the favourite, and Be My Girl. KilleyMoon and Carester will probably do best of the others. The track will be fast.
