“Cruelty To Animals"

Sir, —Recently I missed my cat overnight, and next morning asked permission to search a large adjoining property, where I could hear distressed crying. I found my cat caught fast in a rabbit trap, but so badly injured it had to be destroyed. This letter will never stop such cruelty, ut may warn people in the St Martins area that traps are being set, and so save suffering to other cats, should they be unfortunate enough to venture on to the property.— Yours, etc., ANIMAL LOVER. January 25, 1968.
