140 At Junior Congress
Boys and girls from secondary schools from Auckland to Invercargill are represented among the 140 attending the junior congress being held in conjunction with that of the Australia and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science. The junior congress was opened by the president of the association (Sir John Crawford) yesterday morning. Many of the leading guest speakers at the congress will address the junior congress, including Professor E. W. Titterton (Australian National University), Professor J. L. Harley (Sheffield University), Professor W. V. Macfarlane (Adelaide), and Professor R. D. Brown (Melbourne).
