New Record At Sales
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 23. The National Yearling Sale has already achieved a record aggregate and the session yesterday, although disappointing in some ways, took the realisation for the first three days to $1,409,800. The best previous total was last year when the aggregate for 317 lots was $946,176, at an average of $2985. So far the 1968 average, the best barometer of the sale’s success, is well above the record of 1967, at $4279.
