St Albans I beat Mai Moa on the first innings in the series of one-day women’s cricket matches on Saturday. Scores: St Albans I 128/1 declared (J. Lawn 57 not out. L. Drummond 49) beat Mai Moa 45 (Y. Beaton 11; D. Mcßae 7/19, K. Wilkinson 2/10) and 54/5 (B. Harris 21. P. Merrin 19; Mcßae 4/30) on the first innings. St Albans II 186/4 declared (P. Blackler 76, A. Skerton 31, C. DaUard 26; E. Rouse 2/47) drew with Western 142/4 (Rouse 73, S. Cowles 38. M. McGinity 19 not out). Hagley beat Teachers’ College I by defaudt.
