TWO DIE ON ROAD
ChchGirlln Collision (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, January 21. A 16-year-old Christchurch girl was killed and her parents injured in a head-on collision on State Highway No. 1 near Mosgiel on Saturday. She was Paula Grainger, of 35 McGregors Road, Bromley, Christchurch. Her parents, Clifford Thomas Grainger and Mrs June Grainger, and three of the six occupants in the other car were admitted to the Dunedin Hospital. Mr Grainger underwent surgery for a broken leg. His condition was given “as well as could be expected.” Mrs Grainger suffered concussion. Her condition is satisfactory. The other two members of the family, Bruce, aged 13, and Tony, aged eight, were not hurt.
