Shorn-Lamb Schedule
A schedule of payments for shorn lambs has been announced by meat operators. The prices for meat are, of course, the same as for woolly lambs, but there is a different rate of payment for skins, including pelt and wool. The skin payments for shorn lambs are: [lb wool pull, 72c a head: 5/81b, 73c; Jib, 74c; 7/81b, 75c; 11b, 76c; 1 l/81b, 83c; 1| lb, 86c; 1 3/81b, 89c; l]lb, 91c. The unchanged rates for meat are:— Prime: 20 to 281 b, 13.9 c per lb; 29 to 361 b, 13.5 c; 37 to 421 b, 12.3 c; 431 b and over, 11.1 c. Fair average quality: 20 to' 281 b, 13.1 c; 29 to 361 b, 13.1 c; 371 b and over, 12.3 c. Omega: 20 to 281 b, 12.3 c; and 29 to 361 b, 12.3 c.
