Big Police Search
'N Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 29. Detectives and uniformed policemen last night mounted a massive road search in Auckland and south to Hamilton. Patrol cars, many sm itched from routine duties, blocked highways and side roads continuously from about 9.30 p.m.
Detective Inspector J. F. Stevenson, in charge of the search, early this morning declined to reteal the reason for it.
