CHATHAMS FARES

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. A flight from Wellington to the Chatham Islands by the recently-approved Safe Air, Ltd, service will cost $l3 more than by ship, according to an executive of Holm and Company, Ltd, which has maintained a shipping service to the Chathams for some years.

Captain J. F. Holm, the company’s managing-director, said today that a statement on December 14 that the difference in fares was $5 was incorrect.
