Patrolmen At City Beaches
Paid beach patrolmen appointed by the Canterbury Surf Life Saving Association to patrol beaches in and around the city over the school vacation are as followsSpencer Park, R. Melntosh; Waimairi, A. Haslett; North Beach, B. Leask; New Brighton, R. Tremewan; South Brighton, N. Birch; Sumner, D. Clyne; Taylor’s Mistake, K. Pearson.
The patrolmen will commence their duties on Wednesday, December 20, and finish on January 30.
During week-ends and public holidays, club members will be on patrol, except at Spencer Park.
