WELLINGTON. Cold Boy scorod a popular victory on his home course In the Hone McMillon Memorial, first leg of the T.A.B. double at the Otakl Maori Racing Club’s meeting on Saturday.

Parlez d’Amour completed the double when he beat Gymkhana in the Huia Handicap. An inquiry was held into the event to consider a protest by B. Mahoney, the rider of Gytnkhana, concerning alleged interference by Parlez d’Amour in the straight.

The committee found that any interference was not sufficient to warrant alteration In placings. The film showed that though Parlez d’Amour tended to hang in in the straight, Tinsley made every effort to hold him out. No charge was laid. The weather was fine and the track was fast. Results:
