S.P.C.A.
Sir, —I was interested in your letter signed “Bitchy,” who certainly appears to have a very strong grievance. A dog breeder myself, I offer “Bitchy” my sympathy. Was the date of that letter really October 29, if so the S.P.C.A. appear to have deliberately attempted to keep their activities secret to avoid public condemnation. Might I suggest to “Bitchy” that he or she instigate legal action against the society and in order to protect my own interests, I would assist financially if given the opportunity.—Yours, etc., BREEDER. December 1, 1967. [“Bitchy’s” letter was received on October 29. and referred to the S.P.C.A. on October 30. Ed., “The Press.”]
