Jockey Found Dead (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) KUALA LUMPUR. The popular Sydney jockey, D. Weir, was found dead in his Kuala Lumpur hotel room early yesterday by his room mate. D. Coleman, shortly before they were to go off to the track for a training ride. According to L. Coles, another Sydney jockey, riding here, the 41-year-old Weir had gone to bed early last night when some of the others went out. When Coleman, of Adelaide, returned to his hotel room, Weir appeared to be sleeping soundly. Only when Coleman tried to rouse him later to go to the track did he discover he was dead. The cause of the death is still being established.
