(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) NOUMEA. New Caledonia clinched the the triangular soccer tournament in Noumea, beating New Zealand B, 4-0, on WedI nesday after defeating AusItralia, 2-1, on Sunday.. J. C. Benebig scored in the thirty-seventh minute to give New Caledonia a 1-0 lead at half-time. Good play by G. P. Bilby saved the New Zealanders from a heavier beating in the second half when their forwards, P. Breslin and 1. Kiss, missed good scoring chances.

Benebig, J. Nippy and J. Santpol added New Caledonia’s second-half goals. Australia and New Zealand meet in the final match of the tournament today.
